The valve is designed to allow fluid to flow in one direction and automatically stop reverse flow.
Inside the body there is Disc - opens when fluid pressure pushes against it.
Fluid pressure overcomes the spring force, moving the disc away from the seat.
When the pump stops: The spring pushes the disc closed, preventing water/fluid from flowing backward.
Fast closing due to the spring.
Helps prevent reverse flow and pump damage.
Can reduce water hammer compared with some slower-closing check-valve designs.
